Making the Team & Placements

Team auditions will take place Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9. Dancers will find out their technique level placements as well as their group placements shortly after the audition. All competition team details are in our 2026-2027 Auditions & Audition Prep page which can be found under “Our Programs.

FAQ

  • Specific competitions will be announced at the start of the season. Dance families can expect 4 competitions/conventions in the season. All events will be local within the Bay Area.

  • Please fill out the application form above. If, once the audition date/time is announced you are unable to attend, please reach out to a info@unityinmotion.dance to schedule an in-class evaluation.

  • We plan to offer Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, and Lyrical. You will be asked to specify your style preferences in the application form. Note: indicating interest does NOT guarantee a spot in that group.

  • Team dancers may be invited to participate in solos/duos/trios. Indicate interest in the application form to be considered.
